Basic service 

Scope of service:

• running test of the compressor to check for oil leaks
• measurement of the vibration level at the measuring point (RMS value) measured before the
• compressor is disassembled,
• measurement of the vibration level of the drive motor,
• inlet duct removal
• removal of silencer and inlet filter,
• checking and replacing the air filter,
• checking and possible repair of silencer,
• dismantling of external diffuser drive,
• dismantling of inlet housing, spiral housing, contour ring, rotor and diffuser plate,
• checking and cleaning of all components exposed to air, especially the rotor,
• disassembly of the internal diffuser drive,
• checking, lubricating and cleaning all parts in the diffuser drive,
• replacement of guide bushings for diffuser blades and bushings for the guide ring 
• replacement of self-aligning bearing in inner drive,
• replacement of diffuser plate elastic seal,
• adjustment of blade setting,
• assembly and measurement of the diffuser drive.

Compressor assembly:

• visual assessment of all parts, including axial clearance of bearings in rotor,
• inspection and adjustment of factory clearance between rotor and housing,
• assembly and check and adjustment of external diffuser drive,
• checking of limit switches,
• installation of silencer and air filter
• installation of inlet pipe,
• replacement of air filter
• checking of coupling and shaft alignment,
• checking the fan motor (cleaning and lubrication),
• checking of blow down valve and check valve (start-up).

Performing a vibration level measurement at the RMS point after the repair.

Checking the turbocharger compressor start and stop sequence.

Full service

Service with rotor shaft bearing replacement for GK gearboxes:

1. All of the above mentioned basic service, plus:

2. Gearbox disassembly;

• visual inspection of gears,
• replacement of rotor shaft bearings,
• replacement of elastic seals,
• checking the clearance between rotor and housing,
• checking the condition of the bearing housings,
• cleaning of all parts,
• checking and measuring gearbox axial clearances.

Service with main shaft bearing replacement for GK gearboxes:

1. All of the above mentioned basic service, plus:

2. Gearbox disassembly;

• visual inspection of gears,
• replacement of rotor shaft bearings,
• replacement of main shaft bearings,
• replacement of elastic seals,
• checking the clearance between rotor and housing,
• checking the condition of the bearing housings,
• cleaning of all parts,
• checking and measuring gearbox axial clearances.
